Author Navdeep Rehill has put pen to paper again with a new book about inspirational football managers.
The Gaffer gives football managers the credit they deserve and takes a swipe at supporters who “think they can be managers when they haven’t got a cat-in-hell’s chance”.
The Risca author pays tribute to the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Brian Clough, Alf Ramsey and Bill Shankly.
Navdeep’s new book follows a successful look at the world of professional wrestling in Britain’s Heroes and Villains.
The Gaffer carries on the sporting theme of Navdeep’s previous work.
The author said: “I wrote the book because managers get a lot of stick when they deserve a lot of credit. Bill Shankly is the most inspirational manager in the book, because he knew that football supporters are the most important people at a club.
“So far I’ve had a really positive reception, people who have bought it said they really enjoyed the read.”
The Gaffer is available in paperback and e-book format from amazon.co.uk, priced £1.79 for Kindle and £9.99 in paperback.
