Gwent Police seek Caerphilly fuel thief

Gwent Police are trying to trace this man after a fuel theft in Morrisons Caerphilly.

Gwent Police would like to trace a man after fuel was stolen from Morrisons in Caerphilly.

They have released a still from CCTV footage of the incident, on May 7, when fuel was put into a white van and the driver failed to pay.

The van had a false number plate, AF14 MXO, which was stolen from another car on May 5.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 140 07/05/14 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

    What’s the point in having such a low resolution camera? That could be almost any adult male – and given that Caerphilly has so many CCTV cameras everywhere I am surprised that didn’t identify him elsewhere. Good luck Gwent police! I don’t know why they don’t have a face camera by the pump – they would identify the thieves every time.
