Police are looking for this man in connection with two fuel thefts in Ystrad Mynach and Gilfach

Gwent Police is investigating two thefts of petrol which happened on Saturday May 31.

A man filled up fuel containers in the boot of his car at Tesco petrol station on Pengam Road in Ystrad Mynach and drove off without paying.

The same man, pictured above and driving a blue Renault Laguna, filled the car with fuel at a petrol station on Gwerthonor Place in Gilfach and again drove off without paying.

The number plate displayed on the front of the car was LN10 OZF and at the back it was YL03 SYH. Police said both number plates had been stolen in separate incidents from vehicles in the Fleur-de-Lis area.

Anyone who with any information is asked to call 101 quoting log number 444 and 445, 31/05/14 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
