Events for Adult Learners’ Week across Caerphilly

News | | Published: 13:00, Friday June 13th, 2014.

Caerphilly County Borough residents are being encouraged to take part in Adult Learners’ Week.

The annual event takes place between Saturday June 14 and Friday June 20.

Adult Learners’ Week is a national scheme from charity Niace Dysgu Cymru. The aim is to get more adults into education.

More than 100 free taster sessions are taking place throughout Caerphilly County Borough offering learners the chance to try their hand at flower arranging, knitting, photography, card making, hairdressing, massage and much more.

As part of Adult Learners’ Week, Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Community Education Team will be hosting a ‘Celebration of Achievement’ evening at Llancaiach Fawr Manor, near Nelson, on Thursday June 19.
