Caerphilly Ladies Choir raised nearly £2,000 towards essential building work needed at a Caerphilly church.
The choir performed at a charity concert on May 16, donating £1,010 raised on the night plus £750 match funding from Barclay’s Bank to the Mount Carmel Baptist Church’s Building Fund.
The concert was held at Tonyfelin West Baptist Church after the floor of Mount Carmel was deemed to unsafe to hold the choir.
Marjorie Gray compered the event with performances from Twyn School Choir, Lucy Rees and Lewis Brace.
