Police appeal after thefts in Penpedairheol and Abertysswg

Police are appealing for information after five cars were broken into in the Penpedairheol area.

The break-ins happened on Farraday Drive, Brunel Close and Bryncoed Terrace between Thursday June 5 and Friday June 6.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log numbers 424, 221, 168 and 50 of 06/06/14 and 53 05/06/14.

In connection with a separate incident, police are also appealing for information after power tools were stolen from a red Peugeot 850 HDI panel van on Charles Street, Abertysswg.

The theft happened in the early hours of Friday June 6. A Weihrauch air rifle was also stolen.

Anyone with information should contact Gwent Police quoting log 72 06/06/14.
