Man’s body found in Blackwood

A man was found dead in Blackwood in the early hours of Sunday morning, June 15.

Police were called to the scene at around 5.20am after the discovery of the body in a field near Blackwood RFC.

Gwent Police said officers conducted enquiries but the death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.

    People in oakdale are in a state of shock about it. He must have felt so so desperate and I hope he is now at peace.
