Cash stolen in Abertridwr burglary

Cash and personal documents were stolen in a burglary in Abertridwr.

Police are appealing for information after the house in Ilan Road was broken into on Tuesday July 1, some time between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Police want to identify two men travelling in a white van seen near the time of the burglary.

One of the men is described as about 5ft 9in tall, in his 20s with a slim build, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a red baseball cap.

The other man is also described as being around 5ft 9in and of stocky build. He was wearing a brown t-shirt and a dark coloured baseball cap.

Anyone who saw the men in the area should call 101 quoting log number 243 1/7/14.
