A 24-year-old man has been released after being arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 20-year-old man in Pontlottyn.
The man will face no further action against him.
A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs has been released on police bail while police carry out further enquiries.
Police were called to a house on Mount Street just before 5pm on August 26 after a body was discovered.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “His death is being treated as unexplained at this time.”
