Detectives investigating the death of a Risca man have been granted extra time to quiz two suspects arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 35-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds at a property on Twmbarlwm Close and died after being taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital. The incident happened at around 8.45pm on Wednesday August 27.
Two local men, aged 28 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of murder. They are currently in police custody after detectives were granted a warrant for further detention by magistrates.
