Roadworks at Pwll-y-Pant roundabout, Caerphilly

News | | Published: 14:00, Monday September 8th, 2014.

Caerphilly County Borough Council is making motorists aware of possible disruption on the roads in the Caerphilly basin area.

Ground clearance works began near Pwll-y-Pant roundabout on Monday September 1, and are scheduled to last approximately three to four weeks.

The works form part of a larger proposed scheme to improve the traffic system at the roundabout.

A council spokesman said the local authority wishes to thank motorists for their patience while the works are carried out.

It’s not the traffic island that needs improving it’s peoples driving, if all the drivers using the roundabout used their indicators we’d all negotiate it quicker and there would be a lot less congestion.
