No further action will be taken against a Newbridge girl who was arrested after an alleged plot to kill her teacher at Cwmcarn High School.
The 15-year-old was arrested after alleged plans to kill maths teacher Alison Cray emerged in the wake of the fatal stabbing of teacher Ann Maguire in Leeds.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “Following CPS advice, the 15-year-old girl from Newbridge who was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and conspiracy to commit murder has been released with no further action.
“She has received a conditional caution for possession of a bladed article on a school premises.”
A second girl who was arrested after the incident on May 1 this year was released last month.
