Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses after a fatal car crash on the B4251 in Wyllie, near Blackwood.
Paul Stewart Thomas, 38, from Cwmfelinfach, died at the scene of the incident that happened just after 5.30pm on Friday October 10.
The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Bora and a red Vauxhall Astra.
Police, firefighters and and paramedics were at the scene and specialist officers are supporting the family of the deceased.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 353 10/10/14.
