Caerphilly based Housing Association United Welsh has been ranked 30th best in the UK, according to a panel of experts.
The list was compiled by housing industry professionals including CIH President Steve Stride and HQN Chief Executive Alistair McIntoch for 24 Housing magazine.
Several hundred housing providers entered this year’s contest and competition was fierce.
24 Housing said: “United Welsh is making its mark in delivering new homes, but it also has a strong track record in support, working in partnership with more than 30 support providers to provide care and support for older and vulnerable people.”
Writing for 24 Housing, CIH President Steve Stride, added: “Any of those shortlisted would have been very worthy winners of the coveted ‘top landlord’ title this year. They are role models to the sector.”
Chief Executive Anthony Whittaker was delighted with United Welsh’s ranking, and said: “This is great news and recognises the hard work that our people have put in over many years. Our philosophy is quite simple, if you employ great people and invest in them they in turn will deliver great results and that’s exactly what is happening at United Welsh.
“I am proud to lead an organisation that has made such a difference to the communities we serve.”
