Police appeal after Bargoed thefts

Police have released these CCTV images to track down suspected shoplifters and a suspected fuel thief.

The shoplifting happened at the Spar in the High Street in Bargoed on Saturday November 8 at about 3.35pm. Officers would like to speak to the two people pictured in the images, right, in connection with the incident.

In a separate incident, Gwent Police is appealing for information following the theft of petrol from Murco petrol station in Bargoed on Friday October 31 at about 5.40pm.

A man put petrol into a black Renault Clio but made off without paying.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured far right, who could hold vital information.

Anyone with any information on either theft can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 423 08/11/14 for the shoplifting and 435 31/10/14 for the fuel theft.

Alternatively people can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
