A community clean-up has been arranged to help improve a commonly walked lane near Caerphilly town.
Gypsy Lane, which runs between Heol Bro Wen and the Parc Avenue Estate, has been prone to fly-tipping and general misuse over the years.
Now local residents have been asked to lend a hand to help clean the lane to help improve the local environment.
Morgan Jones councillor James Pritchard said: “The lane is well used by children and adults and has the potential to be improved dramatically.
“With a good clean up we can hopefully show how much the community values the area.”
The clean up has been arranged in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy and takes place on Saturday January 31.
Volunteers are asked to meet in the turning point in Heol Ty Crwn near Gypsy lane at 10am.
