Pupils from St Cenydd Comprehensive School in Trecenydd have raised £800 for St David’s Hospice.
The Year 10 students organised a non-uniform ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ last year as part of their Welsh Baccalaureate qualification. The pupils had originally set a target of £400, but were amazed to raise double the amount.
Franca Nigro, Community and Events Fundraiser with St David’s, said the pupil’s fundraising efforts were “outstanding”.
