A Caerphilly dog groomer and his Polish lowland sheepdog won a top prize at Crufts over the weekend.
Three-year-old Tilly won first place in the post graduate bitch class, a first for owner Paul Lang who has been showing the rare breed for 20 years.
Mr Lang, who is also a qualified to microchip at Cutz 4 Mutz in Caerphilly town, said: “The dog before Tilly was a champion but not at Crufts. To win a first at Crufts is a bit more special than other championships.
“It’s a bit of a surprise as it’s nice enough just to qualify for Crufts, you’ve got people from around the world competing. The red rosette will go up in my parlour.”
