Caerphilly Children’s Services has exceeded targets to recruit foster carers and placing children for adoption.
Over recent months seven foster carers have been recruited in order to ensure that the needs are met for looked-after children across the county borough.
The council also reported that 100% of looked-after children have a personal education plan in place, which is an improvement on the 95% reported last year.
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Social Services, Robin Woodyatt, said: “Early reports indicate that staff are going over and above to deliver the highest standards of social care for our most vulnerable children.”
