News | | Published: 09:37, Tuesday March 17th, 2015.

Police are warning the public not to buy a television from two men with Irish accents, who have been reported in the Caerphilly town area.

At 2pm yesterday, Monday March 16, at Asda Car Park, on Pontygwindy Road, Gwent Police received a report of a man in white van attempting to sell a laptop and a television.

Later that day at around 3.15pm, police received a second call to Caerphilly Mountain Snack Bar, Mountain Road, reporting that two men in a small white Fiat Scudo van, registration MM07EFH, were trying sell a Samsung TV in the car park. The person the men were trying to sell the television to refused, and the van left the area.

The men in the van were described as white and with Irish accents.

Gwent Police have warned people not to buy a television from the individuals as it is likely to be either stolen or damaged. They have also urged members of the public to be vigilant and to contact them on 101 if they see the vans again.

Irish accents lol. Funny how we live in a society that omits facts in order to shield us from facts that might give us factual evidence that would inform us.
