Up to £2m could be invested in Caerphilly County Borough schools.
A report detailing proposals for the use of capital resources to invest in the electrical rewiring and upgrading of school premises will be voted upon by cabinet members.
The three-year capital programme will see money spent on asset management, health and safety and school security.
Proposals include a £225,000 investment for Ysgol Gymraeg Cwm Gwyddon, Abercarn to deal with increased demand for places.
