A defibrillator has been presented to St Martin’s School in Caerphilly town – the 12th to be presented to schools across Caerphilly County Borough by Jack’s Appeal.
The appeal was launched after Jack Thomas passed away aged 15 from an undiagnosed heart condition. Every comprehensive school in the county borough now has a defibrillator.
The appeal, launched by Jack’s mother June Thomas, also aims to pass ‘Jack’s Law’, to make it illegal for public buildings not to have a defibrillator.
