News | | Published: 12:00, Monday April 6th, 2015.

Young performers from Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Caerphilly, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil have performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.

Students from 17 Stagecoach schools around the country took to the stage, treating the audience to a range of theatrical and musical pieces.

The programme included numbers from the soulful musical, Blues Brothers and classic hits from the enchanting show, Wicked.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Caerphilly, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil Principal, Rhiannon Imiolczyk said: “I am delighted that pupils from my schools had the opportunity to perform at this iconic venue.

“Everyone has had a brilliant time rehearsing for the production and it was great to see them on stage.

“Performances like this showcase the hard work of our students, providing them with memorable experiences and life skills which they can use throughout their careers.”
