Is this event called ‘The Tall Story Competition’?

I am surprised the Conservative candidate is not standing. However, I look forward to attending and pushing the more delusional candidates on how socialism and communism will work or be implemented?
It would be a good idea to be able to question the Tory Candidate how his proposed 30 billion pounds in further austerity measures will impact on Wales? but it seems he is not prepared to attend to be quized by those to whom he looking to elect him. So, you will not be able to question THAT particular delusional political wanabe.
Compare that candidates absence to the attendance of the inexperienced Plaid Candidate who has the decency and the confidence to be there, now, thats the way to do it if they expect us to vote or them.
I agree. It is disgraceful that a candidate expecting people to vote for him is away. An absence is only excusable by hospitalisation, a major family event (i.e. death or wife giving birth), or a clash for a larger election event (e.g. if he was a party leader and had the leader’s debate on national television, but this is clearly not the case)
I assume you will be there so it will be a fun game of trying to spot the Caerphilly Observer regulars. I have lots of questions planned which will challenge every single party (I can play devil’s advocate if I need to), but my big question is going to revolve around alternatives to austerity and the inherent contradiction in the Green manifesto.

What possible reason could the Conservative Candidate have for doing a “Cameron”, and not facing the electorate who`s valuable votes he is seeking? surely he is willing to defend such a “good Record” of his party in Government?

Perhaps the Tory Candidate is otherwise engaged in his home town, South Moreton Didcot, Oxon?. And as for the Lib Dem Candidate, Alladin, he has probably released the Genie from the lamp and thinks he can get his wish come true, granted by the Genie? without facing the electorate.
The Labour candidate, Wayne David, was a teacher for two years, leaders of various pressure groups for 4 years until entering politics as an MEP. He is about as career politicians as you can get.
While I am not against career politicians it seems we can add your beloved Labour candidate to your list of things wrong with the candidates. It leaves Plaid’s firefighter, UKIP’s DJ businessman, and TUSC rebel the only plausible options. Yes? Or do career politicians not bother you either?
`beloved Labour candidate`. That`s a bit strong Dean! Now, if you had said the “`saviour` Labour Candidate” that would be nearer the mark. and Ed Millibands PPS to boot.
The Tory Candidate looses ALL credability if he does not turn up on the night, and really does`nt deserve the miniscule vote he will get anyway.
Career Politicians like Osbourne, Cameron, and gang really do bother me, you are right and I agree with you about career politicians, but I dont think you meant them, Did you????
When I say career politician I mean every career politician regardless of their level or their party. However, I would draw a distinction in the types of career politicians as some career politicians could be career politicians not only as a career, but because they are motivated by wanting to make long-lasting change.
I agree.
