Police would like to speak to this man in connection with an assault at Caerphilly Social Club

Gwent Police is looking to speak with this man following an assault at Caerphilly Social Club.

The assault happened at around 11.15pm on Friday April 3 at the club on in Castle Street, Caerphilly town.

The victim of the assault, a 42-year-old man from the Cefn Hengoed area was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff with a head injury.

A 26-year-old man from the Hengoed area has been reported for summons for assault.
