Did you go to Lewis School Pengam? If you’re a former student who would like to support current students, the school would love to hear from you.
The school is one of more than 400 state schools and colleges across Britain which have registered with the charity Future First to set up networks of former students, or alumni, who can act as role models to current pupils.
Assistant headteacher Mike Oliver said: “We are very keen to hear from former pupils who are still living in the area. We believe they would be able to help pass on their work and life experiences to our present pupils and possibly give them some guidance towards learning a trade.
“We’d also be pleased to hear from our boys that have gone further afield, whether they went to the Grammar School or the Comprehensive. Whatever they are doing now we want to hear from them.”
