Boy arrested after Graig-y-Rhacca shop theft

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after cash and cigarettes were stolen from a shop in Graig-y-Rhacca.

The theft happened at General Stores in the village at around 2.30pm yesterday, June 17.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 2.30pm it was reported that a boy entered the store, and whilst the shop keeper was distracted, he leaned over the counter and stole cash and cigarettes.

“A 17 year old boy from the Caerphilly area has been arrested on suspicion of theft and is currently in police custody.”

    Was he from “The Rock” itself? Did he disguise himself with a pair of tights on his head and an extended finger in the pocket of his coat?
    They must of had to get Poirot him very self in to catch this mastermind.
