Bomb disposal experts remove WWII grenade found by Ystrad Mynach resident

Bomb disposal experts were called to Ystrad Mynach after a resident found a grenade in his garage.

Police were called to a property in Penallta Road at around 4.30pm and the area was  sealed off with a cordon.

Bomb disposal experts from the Royal Logistics Corps removed the World War Two grenade.

    That’s priceless. A finer story for the pub I have never heard.
    I must clear out my garage at some point before I end up like this chap, 78 and discovering something bonkers.
