Man who fell 15ft between machinery in Cwmcarn airlifted to hospital

A man was airlifted to hospital after falling between machinery at a recycling plant in Cwmcarn.

Wales Air Ambulance took the man to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff on Sunday September 6, after he fell 15ft at the unit on Chapel Farm Industrial Estate.

Fire fighters were called at around 3.20pm to gain access to the casualty who was airlifted to hospital just after 4,30pm.

Aberbargoed crew are assisting with the rescue of a male fallen approx 15ft in-between machinery in a recycling unit in Cwmcarn 15.21
