Easy job! Another pointless position paid for by us. I suppose it lowers the unemployment figures though for Caerphilly.
I will be surprised if they get much interest from credible candidates for that sort of money. Might suit a retired person with a strong interest in council standards. Perhaps they should have put this position in place several years ago, before the last bosses scandal.
It was, and they did
Ssshhh! Not allowed to mention the pay scandal cosing us more than £3M so far in this paper. Oh blast! I have mentioned it!
No doubt the council has already pencilled in somebody to fill the position – somebodies mate, son, daughter, wife who could use a bit of extra pocket money.
Yes, spot on like the hardacre saga at caerphilly cbc and wellington saga at torfaen cbc. Apparently Mr Hardacre has left caerphilly cbc to join the NHS. Typical!
If Mr. Hardacre has left for teh NHS that would make sense as I beleive his wife works over there.
I could do with this gig, what’s the chances?
About the same chance as mine, I think! Work that one out for yourself.
I happen to think my chances are very good. Chiefly because my standards are already very low.
In that case you may have a lot of competition for the post!
