Nominations have opened for this year’s Pride in Your Place awards.
The awards are part of a Caerphilly County Borough Council campaign to reward businesses and individuals who have done something to help make their area a better place to live or work.
There are ten award categories for schools, community groups and individual volunteers to enter, and there are cash prizes for all shortlisted candidates.
The awards are sponsored by SEDA International Packaging and Managing Director Lorenzo Angelucci said: “We are very pleased to be supporting the Pride in your Place Awards again this year.”
Cllr Nigel George, Cabinet Member for Community & Leisure Services said: “I would like to thank SEDA for their support again this year.
“Without their financial support this popular initiative would not be able to put smiles on the faces of those who do their bit to make our area a better place to live, work and learn.”
