A woman was hospitalised after a suspected arson at a Caerphilly town pub.
A 34-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the Royal Gwent Hospital after fire tore through the conservatory of the Mason’s Arms.
The woman has since been released from hospital.
Fire broke out in the conservatory of the pub on Mill Road at around 4.40am today, October 16.
Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses.
A spokesperson said: “Officers believe the fire may have been deliberately set.”
