A credit union has teamed up with a not-for-profit organisation which helps homeless people.

Smart Money Cymru, based in Caerphilly town, marked International Credit Union Day on October 15 by launching an appeal to support Coffee4Craig.

Coffee4Craig was set up to support the homeless community in memory of Craig White, a 37-year-old man who died while living rough on the streets of Cardiff.

The credit union is collecting items needed by homeless people at its Cardiff Road office, so that Coffee4Craig can distribute them.

If you can help call 02920 883751 or email lucinda@smartmoneycymru.co.uk.

Items regularly needed are: basmati rice; sleeping bags; biscuits; fleece throws; crisps; blankets; squash; rucksacks; tinned corned beef; cheese; fruit; uht milk; sugar; and other similar items.
