The number of children participating in sport throughout Caerphilly has increased, according to the recent School Sport Survey conducted by Sport Wales.
Currently, 47% of children in Caerphilly County Borough regularly participate in sport – a rise from 39% in 2013.
The survey also found that 79% of school pupils have taken part in sport at a club outside of their school in the last year.
Nationally, out of 116,000 Welsh school children, 48% participate in sport three or more times a week.
