Two men caught masturbating in public in Pengam and Blackwood

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency in the Blackwood area.

At around 11.35pm on Sunday, December 13 a man was seen masturbating in a vehicle on Commercial Street, Pengam, and at 11.56pm a second report was received of a man masturbating in a vehicle on the forecourt of Blackwood Service Station on High Street.

Police said officers were immediately dispatched to the area to conduct a search. With the assistance for the Air Support Unit and dog section, two suspects were found and arrested.

A 26-year-old man from Blackwood was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and taking a vehicle without consent, and a 34 year old man from the Caerphilly area was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and allowing himself to be carried in a stolen vehicle.

The two are currently in police custody.
