The newly-formed Valleys Gymnastics Academy cheerleading team entered their first regional competition and returned home with three trophies.

Competing in the BCA Spring Spirit event in Worcester, the Level 2 Large Cheer team took the third place trophy, the girls’ Senior Dance team took third and the Level 2 Senior Stunt team (pictured above) were top, taking first place overall.

Head Cheer Coach Zoe Roberts said: “We are all extremely proud of the athletes, they have done VGA proud competing against many older and more experienced teams.”
