Penallta RFC are through to the Worthington Mid District Cup final after defeating National League 1 East Central champions Treorchy.
In the second semi-final of the Cup, the Pitmen beat Treorchy 37-17 at Penygraig RFC on Tuesday May 2.
Winger Lloyd Rowlands scored the last two tries after second-rower Lee Rowlands and prop Matthew Angel had crossed earlier in the match. Outside-half Bleddyn Corns slotted each of his four conversions and three penalties for a 17-point haul.
The result pits Penallta – who last month won the National Bowl at Finals Day – against local rivals Bedlinog in the Cup final at Sardis Road, Pontypridd on Wednesday, May 17.
Bedlinog had reached the final after defeating Brecon 32-19 in the first semi-final at Merthyr RFC.
Both sides know each other well after a dramatic meeting in the National Bowl final at the Principality Stadium last year, where Bedlinog clinched the prize with a last-gasp drop-goal.
No drop goals this year please lads @BedlinogRFC ??? https://t.co/FZIviS6x00
