Caerphilly County Borough Council has promised to enforce a new Welsh law which has banned under 18s from having intimate piercings.
The local authority’s Environmental Health Team has said it will take action against businesses found to be breaking the law.
Cllr Eluned Stenner,Cabinet Member responsible for Public Protection,said: “The safety of our residents is of paramount importance and our Environmental Health Team perform an important role to support businesses to comply with the law.”
