Woman touched inappropriately and then headbutted in the face at Porters in Blackwood

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was touched inappropriately and then headbutted in the face at a bar in Blackwood.

Gwent Police said the victim was on the dance floor close to the fire escape doors, when she was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately and then headbutted her to the face.

The victim later received hospital treatment for a broken nose.

The man who carried out the assault at at Porters in High Street, is described as white, around 30-years-old and of medium build. He is around 5ft 8in tall, with short fair hair and was wearing a white shirt.

Anyone who has any information about the attack, or witnessed it, can call Gwent Police 101 quoting log 104 18/3/18.

    A very serious incident and once again Gwent Police have taken a full month to realise information about it. Why have they taken a whole month to ask for witnesses to come forward. Once again Gwent police are failing the victims. Crimes like this need to be reported and stopped.
