Budding rugby league stars can qualify to play for the Welsh under 16s national team at open trials in June being held at Ystrad Mynach.
The 2018 Wales Rugby League under 16s national team is holding an open trial on Saturday June 2 at the Centre of Sporting Excellence, Ystrad Mynach.
Players must be under the age of 16 on September 1, 2017 and be of current school Year 10 or 11 in 2018.
To be eligible for Wales under 16s players must have been born in Wales, resided in Wales for at least the last three years, or have a Welsh parent or grandparent.
The trial runs from 10.45am to 2pm and consists of a fitness and skills assessment in the morning and a series of full contact trial games in the afternoon.
Those players who are successful on the day will be invited to a final trial on Saturday June 16 at Ystrad Mynach, where they will be joined by the 2017 players who are still eligible to remain in the squad.
