A teenage girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic crash near the 7 to 11 shop on Bedwas Road, Caerphilly, at about 3.25pm on Sunday, May 13.
A Gwent Police spokesman said the girl was taken to hospital where she was treated for her injuries, but had since been discharged.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance, two paramedics in rapid response vehicles and a BASICS doctor to the scene.
“A teenage girl was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.”
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
