A huge pile of used tyres were dumped on Penyrheol mountain by illegal fly-tippers.
The discovery, pictured above, was made by walker Adam Kidley. on Thursday, September 20.
Posting sarcastically on Twitter, he said: “Nice to see someone has used the lane heading up to Penyrheol mountain as a dumping ground once again.”
In its response on Twitter, Caerphilly County Borough Council said it would report the matter to its environmental team.
It replied: “This is completely unacceptable, causing huge damage to the environment and a danger to walkers, road users and wildlife.”
