There is lots happening at Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall in the coming weeks with plenty of shows to keep audiences entertained.

The Red Radiators Amateur Theatre Company presents Hickory Dickory Dock – a panto written by Norman Robbins.

Tickets are £7 and £5 for under 16s. Group tickets (two adults, two children) £20.

You can buy tickets from Seetickets.com, from the Hall or on the door. Please check availability before travelling.

Performances are on Wednesday, October 3 and Thursday, October 4 with doors open at 6pm. There is also an afternoon performance on Saturday, October 6 at 1.30pm.

All profits go to Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall restoration funds.

The Bohemians will play at Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall

The hall will have its very own tribute to rock group Queen on Friday, October 12.

The Bohemians are a top tribute band to Freddie Mercury and Queen based in Sussex.

Lead singer Rob Comber bears an uncanny likeness to the one and only Mercury and the band have been congratulated for their performances by members of Queen.

Tickets cost £16.50 (inc booking fee) and can be bought from www.ents24.com.

Also appearing at Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall on Saturday, October 27, are Hells Bells.

The band are one of Britain’s leading AC/DC tribute bands, playing sell-out shows all over the UK and Europe.

Known for their high-energy performances and relentless touring, Hells Bells are an act not to be missed by fans of the original Australian rockers.

Tickets cost £11 (inc booking fee) and are available from www.ents24.com.

Before that however, Caerphilly Players will be performing Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit between Tuesday, October 23 and Friday, October 26.

Set in the 1940s, the story follows novelist, Charles Condomine, who stages a seance with the help of eccentric medium and clairvoyant, Madam Arcati. It all takes a turn for the worst when the seance brings back the ghost of Mr Condomine’s dead ex-wife, Elvira and Charles is the only one who can see her. Scarily good fun for this Halloween.

Performances are at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £9 for adults and £6 for under 16s and are available from www.caerphillyplayers.org.
