Blackwood town centre is set to be transformed into a summer paradise on Saturday, June 29.
A large sand pit will run along High Street to create an urban beach.
There will also be traditional seaside-themed activities on the day, as well as children’s funfairs, street entertainment and live music.
A variety of food and craft stalls will also be set up during the event, which will start at 9am and will run until 6pm.
Meanwhile, Blackwood carnival parade will start at the bus station at 12pm on the same day.
The event has been organised by Blackwood Town Council with support from Caerphilly County Borough Council.
