Caerphilly Castle will host a family-friendly day of weapon demonstrations, history talks and activities on Saturday, September 14.
Visitors will have the chance to learn about legendary characters from Welsh history.
The event will run from 11am to 4pm.
Adult tickets cost £8.90, while tickets for children aged between five and 17, students and Armed Forces personnel and veterans cost £5.30.
People aged 65 and over can enter for £7.10, while family tickets cost £25.70.
Disabled people can enter for free.
Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas AM, Welsh Government’s deputy minister for culture sport and tourism, recently spoke to Caerphilly Observer about the Caerphilly Castle masterplan and said: “It’s about looking at historic sites and monuments as living places where people can find knowledge, entertainment and education, but it’s also part of our history and part of our identity.”
