The Rocket Man is still standing

The show will feature some of Sir Elton’s biggest hits

Blackwood Miners’ Institute presents a tribute to the multi-Grammy award winning legend and superstar that is Sir Elton John.

The Rocket Man tribute charts the rise to fame of the composer of world-renowned songs such as I’m Still Standing, Candle in the Wind, Night’s Alright for Fighting, Are You Ready for Love, Your Song and Rocket Man.

The show combines breath-taking vocal and piano performances, flamboyant costumes, and a dazzling light show.

The concert pays tribute to one of the biggest selling artists of all time, with more than 250 million records sold.

The musical journey will start at 7.30pm at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Saturday, October 19.

Tickets cost £21 (including booking fee) and are available from the venue’s box office.
