Police are looking for a 36-year-old man from Pontllanfraith.
Police say they would like to speak to Gary Cargill about an alleged theft in Blackwood on Thursday, October 17.
Officers have urged people not to approach Cargill, who has links to New Tredegar.
Gwent Police has asked anyone who sees Cargill to call 999, quoting log 1900384894.
