A man has appeared before magistrates accused of historic sexual abuse.
Stephen Evans, 58, of Brynrhos, Llanelli, is alleged to have abused a girl between 1975 and 1983, when she was aged between six and 14.
Evans denies five charges of indecent assault and three charges of gross indecency with a girl under the age of 14.
The alleged abuse is said to have taken place at an address in Caerphilly.
Newport Magistrates’ Court adjourned the case when it was heard on Friday, January 10.
Evans is due to appear at Newport Crown Court on February 7.
