A man who died in hospital after being assaulted in Blackwood has been named as 33-year-old Shane Jones.
The assault happened on Apollo Way at around 10pm on Tuesday, January 14.
A 32-year-old man from Blackwood has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Gwent Police has launched a murder investigation into Mr Jones’ death and is appealing for information.
