Caerphilly County Borough Council’s traffic wardens are to return to patrolling the streets from Monday, June 15.
In a statement posted on the council website, the local authority said its civil parking enforcement officers will focus initially on town centres and surrounding streets. This will happen as shops begin to reopen due to the Welsh Government easing the coronavirus lockdown.
Residents will not be charged for parking in council-owned car parks and this will continue until further notice.
Parking permits which expired during the lockdown will also remain valid for the foreseeable future.
The council also said the stay local rules remain in place and that residents only travel when essential.
